Pakistani Delegation Visit to Guangxi University

Pakistani Delegation under supervision of Honorable vice Chancellor “University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore Prof. Dr. Talet Naseer Pasha, invited by Prof. Dr. Kehuan Lu (Ex-Vice President of Guangxi University, GXU) visited GXU on July 17th 2018. The purpose of this visit is to enhance the mutual interaction and collaboration between two universities specially about buffalo reproduction techniques and other advanced molecular technologies using in domestic animals. Guangxi Province (China) and Punjab Province (Pakistan) are famous for their Livestock Breeds specially the buffalo breed in livestock production due to its superior genetics. Both Universities are working different projects on Livestock animals to fulfill the requirement of milk and meat production. Pakistani Delegation visited the State Key Laboratory for Conservation and Utilization of Subtropical Agro-bio Resource where they came in different labs including IVF lab, Cell Culture lab and all associated labs including animal science and technology. Guangxi University is also facilitating the Pakistani Students for their PhD programs in different fields of Animal Sciences. Both side agreed to make further cooperation in the field of buffalo reproduction in the future.
